Tokyo – July 27, 2010 – GMO Internet domain registrar Onamae.com in cooperation with Microsoft Japan, today launches Onamae.com Windows®Desktop.
About Onamae.com Windows Desktop
Onamae.com Windows Desktop is a virtual Windows Desktop hosted in the GMO Internet data center. The remote desktop
private server service can be accessed from a home computer, Smartphone or other remote device. Use
Onamae.com Windows Desktop to run applications too heavy for your home computer or save files to the virtual server
for access from your office, home or other locations.

We use Windows Server 2008 R2, the latest Microsoft operating system together with Hyper-V™ virtualization technology to achieve an interface with the look and feel of Windows 7. High Specs, Service Tuning for Superior Platform Environment
Like existing Virtual Private Server (Windows VPS) services, the new service does not host web sites or email, and as a result requires less memory and CPU ensuring adequate server resources are available for running applications. GMO Internet also performs individual tuning to ensure the client’s environment is optimized for high performance.
