paperboy&co. Announces New Email Features for Micro Blog Service, Logpi
Tokyo – December 8, 2009 – GMO Internet Group company, paperboy&co. announces the launch today of new email features for Logpi allowing users to post comments and images by email.
Logpi, developed by paperboy&co. is a free micro-blog service that is simpler than a blog and provides a space where users can comment on events in their daily lives. One of the most significant features of the service is that it encourages communication between users posting on similar topics by requiring a title (category) to be selected for each post. In addition to regular comments, users can opt to post simultaneously to Twitter, or set privacy settings for each post.
No Log in Required, Email Posting- Now Posting from your Cell Phone is even Easier
The email features released today make it possible for users to post to Logpi from their cell phone by sending an email to an address they have previously been assigned. Both regular posting and simultaneous posting to Twitter are possible using the new Logpi email feature.
Up until now Logpi users have been able to use the service by accessing and logging into the mobile version of the Logpi site. The new features make posting faster and easier by enabling users to upload posts without having to log into the site.
Image Upload Feature – Available to PC and Cell Phone Users
The image upload feature allows users to upload images together with their comments from a PC or cell phone. One image of up to 2MB in size in either .jpg, .gif or .png format can be uploaded with each comment. Uploaded images are displayed as a list of thumbnails, each thumbnail is clickable and will display the original image. To upload an image from a PC select your image from the upload form. To upload an image from a cell phone simply send it as an attachment to the address assigned by Logpi.
Now photos taken by cell phone can be directly uploaded to Logpi!
