GMO Internet Group Launches Online Shop Marketing Feature using iMenu® Shopping
 
Tokyo – October 1, 2009 – GMO Internet Group companies paperboy & co. and GMO MAKESHOP Co. Ltd. announce the launch today of a new marketing feature using DOCOMO iMenu® Shopping for users of Color Me Shop! pro and MakeShop online shop builder ASP services.
 
iMenu Shopping is an easy to use shopping information site for NTT DOCOMO imode users accessible from the iMenu® top page. Color Me Shop! pro and MakeShop stores can now publish product information on this site.
 
Background to the Service Launch
As cell phones become faster and increasingly sophisticated, the number of users accessing the Internet from mobile devices is growing. There are now over 75 million people (*1) in Japan accessing the Internet from their cell phones, and as a result in 2008 the mobile ecommerce market grew to be worth 868.9 billion yen (*2).
Today we introduce this new service to help customers of Color Me Shop! pro and MakeShop to attract customers and expand marketing opportunities for individual online stores.

How to Publish on iMenu Shopping
Stores are required to be part of GMO Toku Toku Point to use this service (3*).
Color Me Shop! pro
 1. Click the Calamel Settings tab on the Color Me Shop! pro administration screen.
 2. Click Calamel Settings on the left hand side menu
 3. Select Open a Store from the pull down menu. Select other settings and click Update.
 4. From the ItemPOST administration screen select Open a Store from ItemPOST Store  Settings and set iMenu Shopping to Publish.
 5. From the Category Settings screen select an ItemPOST category for each product.
 6. On the Product Publish Settings screen set each product to publish to iMenu Shopping.
「MakeShop」
 
 1. Click the ItemPOST tab on the MakeShop administration screen.
 2. Set ItemPOST Publish function to on.
 3. Check the box for Use External (Paid) Media
 4. Click on Set
(*3) MakeShop stores will be able to use the service without becoming members of GMO Toku Toku Point until December 31 this year.

Fees
Pay per action system. The net shop is charged 3.5% of the purchase price of each product sold through iMenu Shopping.

A joint venture between NTT DOCOMO, Inc. and D2 Communications, Inc, iMenu Shopping is a shopping information site that publishes product information provided by a range of ecommerce businesses. Information distributed using Shopping Search search-related advertising is displayed on iMenu Shopping.

Color Me Shop! pro by paperboy&co. is an easy to use ASP online shop builder available from 875 yen per month. The service currently has approximately 23,000 stores predominantly operated by individuals (8/2009). In addition to offering a sophisticated online store building tool, we provide a full range of promotion support services including the online shopping mall Calamel.
GMO MAKESHOP service MakeShop is a feature-rich online store construction and management ASP service that can be operated and enjoyed by anyone. One of the world's top online store construction ASPs, MakeShop is used to operate over 16,000 online stores for individuals, SMEs, and famous boutique stores. GMO MAKESHOP leverages its advanced technology and extensive experience to develop new services for website operators including ItemPOST product search portal and Live! video editing tool.
Operating in partnership with MakeShop and Calamel, this service allows stores to display their products across multiple sites with a single product registration. In addition to iMenu Shopping, stores can also display products on kakaku.com, and GMO Internet Group websites. The pay per action structure keeps costs down for the user.
GMO Toku Toku Point is a new common point program operated by GMO Media Holdings, Inc. Members can collect points by making purchases at participating stores or using GMO Internet Group services. Points may be exchanged for cash or used at participating stores. One point is worth one yen.
