Tokyo- July, 1 2008 --GMO Internet Group advertising services company, NIKKO today begins accepting applications for participation in the 2009 edition of the technology and Internet industry DigiTokyo Map & Calendar.

What is the DigiTokyo Map & Calendar?
The first DigiTokyo Map & Calendar was produced in collaboration between Trestria, Inc. and NIKKO in 1999. The 2009 edition marks the eleventh year of a project that has represented the who’s who of technology since the dawn of the IT/ Internet industry in Japan.
In 1989 a calendar was produced to celebrate the success of the Silicon Valley high-tech industry in the US. This inspired a similar project in Japan that has since brought recognition and a sense of a community to the high-tech center of Asia.
DigiTokyo Map & Calendar Description
The calendar features a map of Tokyo with company logos identifying the location of participating companies. Companies may also opt to have their own logo appear in gold foil at the center of the calendar, making it an ideal office decoration, client gift, or promotional tool.
