GMO MAKESHOP Company Name Change
GMO Internet Group company MakeShop, the company that manages the online store construction ASP service of the same name, will change it's name to GMO MAKESHOP Co.Ltd. effective August 1, 2008.
MakeShop was established in September 2004 and in November of the same year it launched the sophisticated, low-cost online store construction and management ASP service, MakeShop. Since then it has provided services based around the MakeShop tool to a diverse customer base from individuals and small and medium businesses to famous specialty stores and major retailers.
The company has changed its name to deepen relationships within the GMO Internet Group and boost its image in the corporate services market.
