EDC Coming to Japan in Summer 2016
America’s Largest Dance Music Festival, EDC attended by more than one million worldwide

Tokyo, Japan – July 16, 2015 -- INSOMNIAC HOLDINGS, GMO Internet Group company, GMO Culture Incubation, and LIVE NATION JAPAN announce that one of the world’s largest*1 Electric Dance Music festivals, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) is coming to Japan*2 for the first time.

Ultimate Sound and Light Carnival Coming to Asia for First Time!
 
EDC has become more than just a music event, featuring amusement park rides, fireworks, costumes and live performances as part of the dance music festival experience. With events held in North and Central America and right throughout the world, EDC attracts more than one million revelers a year, making it one of the largest EDM festivals in the world. EDC LAS VEGAS 2015 was held in a motor racing complex, over three days on eight stages featuring over 200 DJs. The world’s biggest DJs including Calvin Harris, Hardwell and Avicii attracted over 400,000 event goers. Now the ultimate sound and light carnival experience is coming to Asia, and is expected to draw fans from not only Japan but from throughout Asia.
