Tokyo – July 27, 2011 – GMO Internet Group announces that following the acquisition of Value Domain operator DigiRock, Inc. this month, it now overwhelmingly holds the top share of the domain registration market in Japan. The group first joined the market in 1999 and its four domain registration services; Onamae.com, MuuMuu Domain, Rocket Net and Domain King have consistently grown registrations and maintained a strong market position. The latest acquisition will help the group to achieve continued improvement throughout all its domain service offerings.
