GMO AD Partners Acquires All Shares in Behavioral Targeting and Content Matching Ad Network company Sanoh, Inc.

Tokyo – April 19, 2010 – GMO Internet Group company GMO AD Partners resolved at a Board of Directors meeting convened today to acquire all shares in Sanoh, Inc. (a subsidiary of Unoh, Inc.) making the company a fully-owned subsidiary.

Background
In the rapidly expanding Internet advertising market, mobile advertising grew 103.1 billion yen (112.9% YoY. Source: DENTSU, Inc. 2/2010) in 2009. At the same time network advertising and other new fields have begun to emerge and the market is evolving and diversifying.
GMO AD Partners will take advantage the relationships of its Media Rep business with over 2,000 SME agencies and 600 media publishers to move into network advertising. In April this year we established an ad network promotions office specializing in PC and mobile ad networks, and launched an initiative that will focus on developing new technology that will meet diverse and sophisticated needs of users, and the development and promotion of network advertising products for the PC and mobile markets.
As part of this initiative GMO AD Partners made the decision to acquire Sanoh a company established in June that has consistently grown revenue through the development and operation of NeoAd, a behavioral targeting and content match ad network for mobile websites. All shares in Sanoh will be acquired from Unoh a company that has invested in and collaborated with Sanoh from the beginning. Sanoh brings with it advanced development and technical expertise and will allow GMO-AP to boost sales in the SME advertising market.
