JWord Announces Partnership with Leading Movie Information Site, allcinemaONLINE

Tokyo – February 27, 2007 – GMO Internet Group company, JWord, the company that operates the Japanese keyword search service of the same name, has joined in a partnership with Stingray, the company that operates allcinemaONLINE, one of the largest movie information sites in Japan. As a result of the deal, when a user conducts a search on the allcinemaONLINE site, links to relevant sites registered with JWord are now listed along with the search results. JWord links were introduced on February 15.
AllcinemaONLINE is one of the largest movie databases and most comprehensive DVD information sites in Japan. The site receives around six million page views per month and in addition to general movie information also presents extensive movie related information including actor details, theatre release dates, DVD release dates, comments and access rankings. The site also features its own DVD label, allcinemaSELECTION. Available by mail order and aimed at cinema lovers, the label releases cult movie DVDs and rare titles.
JWord is a search service through which companies register keywords such as their product or company name.
Now, when the name of an actor whose official site is registered with JWord is entered into the allcinemaONLINE search box, a link to their official site marked with a red J symbol, is displayed on the actor's page above the search results. The user can then simply click on the link for easy access to the official site.
Usability is improved and users are able to access an actor’s official site while searching for information about a movie.

JWord will continue to form partnerships like the one with allcinemaONLINE that make searching the Internet more convenient and more enjoyable at the same time as working to further expand the JWord network and provide users with better access to information on the Internet.
