GMO Media Holdings and FUJI GLOBAL NETWORK Launch Marketing Panel
 
Tokyo – November 28, 2007 – GMO Internet Group company, GMO Media Holdings together with FUJI-KEIZAI GROUP company, FUJI GLOBAL NETWORK, announces the launch of GMO Toku Toku Point Communication Panel to support the marketing activities of companies in the Internet communication field (blog services, SNS etc.). 
The two companies have agreed to jointly operate a one-stop communication marketing panel business that will provide research and marketing data, integrated marketing activities, and everything from planning to execution and outcome reports.
 
Communication Marketing Panel Services
GMO Media Holdings consolidated subsidiary, GMO Media, operates blog services, SNS and other social media in which it sells advertising space. One of these services, the yaplog! blog service (*1) was launched in 2004 and has today grown to over 780,000 members. The majority of yaplog! users are young women between ages 20-34 that use the service as a space for exchanging information. 
FUJI-KEIZAI GROUP provides industrial research and other market research services. Within the group, FUJI GLOBAL NETWORK is focused on Internet market research information services. 
GMO Media Holdings, together with FUJI GLOBAL NETWORK, has developed communication marketing panel services that combine the strengths and experience of the two companies. The service aims to provide a tool for assessing awareness using the GMO Toku Toku Point Communication Panel, a panel that currently consists predominantly of yaplog! members.
Bloggers have the power to get information out over the Internet so they are very valuable in net marketing. Clients that take advantage of the GMO Toku Toku Point Communication Panel can expect to see the benefits of having their product promoted on blogging and SNS user networks.

This will allow FUJI GLOBAL NETWORK to collect data relating to consumer awareness, lifestyle, and promotions. At the same time it allows the company to offer a new and improved service that shows a clear relationship between market survey results and consumer awareness in the industrial field.
 
Using the GMO Toku Toku Point Communication Panel
When client companies hold net promotions they can offer members of the panel GMO Toku Toku points (*2). Panel members can collect points by participating in promotions or as a reward for activities such as completing a survey, visiting a campaign website, applying to become a product tester, or mentioning a product in their blog. This net marketing tool helps clients build brand recognition and increase sales. 
The panel is currently being put together from members of the net membership service, GMO ID(*3) and members of other services offered operated by the GMO Internet Group . By the end of the year we expect it to consist of approximately 5 million members. We are committed to growing the GMO Toku Toku Point Communication Panel as an Internet marketing service.
