The .Asia Domain
The .asia domain is a new sponsored top level domain (sTLD*1) for the Asia Pacific area. The word Asia as a domain is a smart choice for businesses in the Asia Pacific region and companies with plans to enter the Asia Pacific market. Businesses can use the name to effectively build business value and brand value throughout the region. Any individual or company (organization etc.) located in the area can register a .asia domain.

.Asia Applications Now Being Accepted
The .asia domain has entered the sunrise phase (*2) and onamae.com began accepting registrations last month (October 10) for Sunrise phase 2a registrations (closed October 31). The next phases, 2b, 2c,and 3 are being launched today. This phase will run until January 16, 2008.
