JWord Partners with Weblio Online Dictionary

Tokyo – October 3, 2007 – GMO Internet Group company JWord, the company that operates the Japanese Internet search tool of the same name, has partnered with Weblio, Inc. to publish links to JWord registered sites on Weblio search results pages. The partnership was launched last Tuesday (September 25, 2007).

The Partnership
Weblio is an integrated online dictionary/encyclopedia that allows users to simultaneously search multiple sources. JWord registers information sites with relevant information under business name, product name, service name and other keywords.
JWord is bringing together the features of the two services to provide increased usability by establishing a partnership that publishes JWord links on the online encyclopedia Weblio.
JWord registered links appear in the search results when users enter a phrase into the Weblio search box that matches JWord registered information. As a result users get the information they are looking for and related topics. Now Weblio offers even more information and better usability.

Positioning of JWord Links
When a Weblio search is conducted, JWord links appear above the search results and in the lower right hand corner of the screen accompanied by the red J symbol.

Weblio
