JWord Announces JWord Quiz Competition
 
Tokyo – September 12, 2007 – GMO Internet Group company, JWord, the company that operates the Japanese keyword search service of the same name, announces the beginning today of the JWord Quiz. The quiz runs until December 31 and provides an opportunity for participants to learn how to conduct more effective JWord searches while answering quiz questions.
 
JWord Quiz
The JWord Quiz is a fun way for JWord users to learn about the various JWord functions and uses by answering questions in a quiz. The aim of the quiz is to promote the use of JWord and to show users how convenient the JWord search tool is. We will be giving away prizes for the right answers.
 
Campaign Period
September 12, 2007 (Wednesday) to December 31, 2007 (Monday)
Details
The quiz provides an opportunity for users to experience features of JWord and learn how to conduct searches by entering terms directly into the address bar and how to use the search bar and the search assist bar.
1. Quizzes will be distributed every Wednesday (16 quizzes in total).
2. Each question will be replaced with a new question every week. Participants can try new questions every week.
*Questions released on Wednesday can be answered until the following Tuesday.  Responses to questions from previous weeks will not be accepted.
*Multiple responses to the same question will be disqualified.
Sample Question
Which company’s stock information appears when the numbers 9449 are entered into the address bar or search bar?
(Hint: Open Internet Explorer on a computer that has had JWord installed. Enter the numbers 9449 into the address bar or search bar to find the answer)
Prizes
Each week 30 selected winners will receive QUO Cards valued at 500 yen.
Draw
Every week, after Thursday an impartial draw shall be carried out among respondents with correct answers to the previous week’s question.
We reserve the right to substitute other prizes for those advertised.
