GMO NIKKO’s GMO DSP to Plug into Google’s DoubleClick Ad Exchange
Ads to be delivered via third party ad server*1

Tokyo – October 26, 2011 – GMO Internet Group company and ad tech business GMO NIKKO announces display ad management platform GMO Demand Side Platform (GMO DSP) has today plugged into the real-time bidding (RTB) system*2 of Google’s DoubleClick AdExchange, one of the world’s largest ad exchanges*3
At the same time the company begins delivering ads via Fringe81’s ad servers for more effective ad distribution.
(*1) Third party ad server: An ad server that distributes and tracks performance of display ads to multiple publishers.
(*2) Ad Exchange: A technology platform often compared to a stock exchange for buying and selling display ads between advertisers and publishers.
(*3) Real Time Bidding: Bidding on advertising space by the impression in an auction format.

Display ad management platform GMO DSP delivers tens of billions of ad impressions monthly via ad networks and exchanges. By connecting to Google’s ad exchange servers GMO DSP gives advertisers access to over 15 billion impressions of ad space owned by DoubleClick enabling them to purchase the best possible space. Advertisers increase their inventory of ad space for more effective advertising.

GMO DSP Third-Party Ad Server
Using GMO DSP advertisers can now target different ads to different media, manage this process and measure effectiveness using third party ad-servers operated by Internet ad tech company, Fringe 81. Third party ad server distribution enables advertisers measure results across different media and optimize each banner ad for better overall results as well as save time.

GMO DSP
Launched in August this year, GMO NIKKO’s GMO DSP is a display ad management platform that delivers tens of billions of ad impressions monthly. Connected to all major ad networks and exchanges including GMO AD Partners supply side platform GMO SSP, GMO DSP enables advertisers to expand the scale of their distribution and target distributions to specific audiences using audience data. GMO DSP allows advertisers to optimize their media spend by using attribution modeling to identify which media is driving the most effective engagement.
GMO NIKKO continues to strengthen its RTB platform, GMO DSP and going forward plans to continue growing the service.
